Reclaimed barnwood, built onto a planter that lasts
Every panel in the Epic Collection starts as a barn. Some of these structures were framed in Douglas fir centuries ago and stood until they fell out of use. Instead of letting that wood go to waste, we reclaim it, mill it to our specifications, and cut and shape it into square and rectangular panels.
Those panels are then tightly adhered to a fiberglass planter shell, so the character of the reclaimed wood is backed by a structure built to hold up outdoors and in.
The wood The barnwood is left in its natural, weathered state. No two panels read the same: the grain, the graying, the nail holes and saw marks are all part of what centuries of use left behind.
The shell Underneath, the fiberglass shell is water-tight as built, with drainage holes that can be drilled into the bottom for exterior use. The shell itself is available in any of our standard colors, or in two durable, textured exterior finishes: X-Grey and X-Bronze.
